Power Demand and Consumption Measurement |

Line Powered 100/115/208/230V or 277/347/480/600V AC
The ACR PowerBullet is our new power and energy transducer designed to monitor power demand and consumption. It is a line-powered, phase-to-phase unit compatible with
SmartReader 3 and
SmartReader Plus 3 data loggers (for demand monitoring) and with
SmartReader 9 and
SmartReader Plus 9 data loggers (for consumption monitoring). The output directly displays kW and kVA for demand and kWh for consumption. It takes into account Power Factor and True RMS Values, which are not available using our clamp-on type AC current probes and voltage transducers. The PowerBullet's current sensor is a miniature Rogowski Flex Coil and has wide-mouth Alligator Clips for voltage measurement. These sensors and clips are included with the PowerBullet as standard accessories. It is available in both 300V and 600V versions.
Ordering information is available on the product page or on the PowerBullet Data Sheet.

Energy Demand Profiling...
The cost of energy is substantial - it is underestimated how simply changing usage patterns can contribute to savings. ACR Data Logging Solutions provide an effective means of collecting and presenting data for Electrical Load Profiling.

Learn more by reading the complete Energy Demand Profiling Application Note.
NB The PowerBullet enables the SmartReader Plus 3 to obtain power factor from kW and kVA readings using TrendReader 2 version 2.39 and above. This single phase unit can be used line-to-line on balance delta loads. It is a low cost entry point for monitoring motors and compressors. Also good for individual mixed load types such as those in a data center.
